Spatial Community

Spatial Community reports key developments in GIS technology, features useful links to other spatial services and organisations.

The aim is to create a collaborative environment that promotes information sharing and cooperation among the spatial community including government, professional and business users, as well as the general public.

Such an environment will assist spatial data users to work together to achieve:

Uniform GIS technology standards.
Data interoperability.
Common GIS architecture/infrastructure.

By improving our ability to access, exchange, view, deliver and use spatial information, a cooperative approach towards geospatial information in NSW will deliver significant mutual benefits to all involved.
